Ramón Cerdeiras, Fernando Chinchurreta, Luis Peñarrocha, Juan Luis Ramírez and Íñigo Sánchez Asiaín founded Portobello Capital to ensure continuity in the advice and management of the prívate equity funds of Ibersuizas, currently named Portobello Capital Fund I and Portobello Capital Fund II.
Investors in such funds decided by the end of 2010 to terminate its relationship with the aforementioned firm and rely on Portobello Capital’s founding partners, in the first GP removal process in the Spanish private equity market.
Portobello Capital is therefore born with assets under management and exclusive advice worth over 400 million Euros, a portfolio with 12 companies and one of the most successful and seasoned management teams in the industry.
