Hofmann launches an app to create photo-albums from Android smartphones

Following the success of its iPap app, Hofmann has announced the launching of its app to create digital photo-albums for Android smarthphones, although until 31 December Sony Xperia Z1 users will have exclusive access to it.
Changes brought into the mobile digital photography by mobile devices, as for immediacy, mobility and usability with many users already using their smarthphones as first camera have lead to this new need.
This application is therefore one of the first available in the market, allowing the creation of the so called Smart Albums from a smartphone or tablet. With this app, a digital album can be created using the images stored in the mobile device and it can also be ordered digitally.
The previously launched iPad application reached in a few hours the first place in the Photo and Video ranking, and the second position on the global ranking for free apps in the Apple Store.
This app, however, will be available until 31 December in exclusive to users of Sony Xperia Z1. But the company has confirmed that after this date the application will be available for any Android device and soon the app for iPhone will be also launched.
