Indas aquires Albasa

Laboratorios Indas, the owner of the incontinency business line Indasec, will start manufacturing in Catalonia after the acquisition of 100% of Algodones del Bages (Albasa) and Texpol’s incontinency business, two Catalan companies controlled up to now by the family Planas Oliveras. With these acquisitions, the company incorporates a production plant with 93 employees in Sant Vicenç de Castellet.
Indas is the biggest Spanish manufacturer of sanitary products, with a staff of 440 people and production plants in Toledo and Casablanca (Morocco). The company, partly owned since 2007 by Portobello Capital and Vista Capital, registered €173 million revenues last year.
